GLM 5.3 is Z.AI's flagship open-weight model for complex software engineering and long-horizon agentic work. It uses a Mixture-of-Experts architecture with 744B total and about 40B active parameters, built on the GLM 5.2 base with scaled post-training. Text input and output, a 1M-token context window with up to 128K output tokens, selectable reasoning effort levels, function calling, structured JSON output, and streamed reasoning content.
